The Dubai Fountain

About: The Dubai Fountain

As the tallest performing fountain in the world, The Dubai Fountain is a mesmerizing display of water, music, and light located in Downtown Dubai. Situated on the 30-acre Burj Lake, the Dubai Fountain spans over 900 feet, or more than two football fields, and features a variety of musical performances. The fountain’s distinctive design includes two arcs, five circles of differing sizes, and strong water nozzles that shoot water at remarkable heights. With a combined output of 1.5 million lumens, over 6,600 WET Superlights and 25 color projectors produce a visual spectrum of over 1,000 distinct water expressions. Meanwhile, 50 color projectors offer the whole color spectrum. The fountain plays a variety of musical selections, spanning from classical to Arabic and world contemporary music. When the fountain is working, more than 22,000 gallons of water are always in the air.
